There's a real magic and potency in coming away on a yoga retreat as you focus on you. Everything is taken care of - no food to prepare, people to look after or to do lists to tick off - all you have to do is show up and immerse yourself as you create space for deep rest and an opportunity for transformation as you step away from all that is familiar.
As I'm studying in energy medicine and shamanic practices this retreat is evolving as I am and each time we retreat there's a special kind of magic that arises as we all come together. Expect to relax your mind, rejuvenate your body, replenish your energy, bring in new insights and reset your life as we combine healing practices from the ancient wisdom traditions of yoga, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) , mindfulness, tai chi, energy medicine and shamanism with modern day neuroscience, polyvagal theory and NLP techniques.
This retreat will give you the luxury of time and space to release old patterns and conditionings as you move through the body and create a new vision of how you'd like to move forward into the Spring. On this retreat you'll find connection, new friends, poetry and healing.
This retreat is open to all whether you are new to yoga or have been practising for years.
Dating back to the early 18th Century and steeped in History Rugby School is a sweet sanctuary offering a rare combination of heritage and beautifully maintained grounds in elegant, yet understated surroundings. Located in Warwickshire in the Heart of England, the Schools is just 50 minutes from central London via rail and near to the M1, M6 and M40 motorway links. Birmingham International and East Midland airports are all in close proximity.

A yoga retreat is way more than yoga it’s a kind alchemy that takes place. In the stepping away from your life for a few days by removing the consent stimulation from the familiar external environment real shifts can take place. Without the familiar pulls a vision of a different future can emerge.

8am Breakfast
9am-11am Meditation, breathwork and Vinyasa Yoga practice
11.30-1pm Session for example Tai chi or energy medicine work
1.15 Lunch
Afternoon time is for rest and relaxation - enjoy chilling out in the communal spaces or strolling around the beautiful historic grounds
5pm-7pm Yin/Restorative Yoga with mindfulness meditation
7pm Dinner
8.30-9.30 Shamanic journeying and journalling session with sharing circle
